National Heritage Week: Cork DFAS Shandon Church Recording Project

Join Tom Spalding and David Ryan of Cork Decorative and Fine Arts Society as they discuss the ongoing Church Recording Project in St Anne’s Shandon. Cork DFAS was founded in 2013 and is devoted to the conservation of the artistic and cultural heritage of Cork and the advancement and study of the decorative and fine arts. Since May 2016, with the support of the vestry and clergy of the church, members of Cork DFAS have been engaged in an ambitious and innovative project to create a complete digital catalogue of the interior features of St Anne’s. This is the first time such church recording has been done in the Republic.
