Spirit of Mother Jones Festival

The Spirit of Mother Jones Festival takes place in Shandon from Tues 29th July to Friday 1st of August (Mother Jones Day)
Lots of interesting lectures all week at the Firkin Crane,  including Solicitor Gareth Pierce - 'Defending the Underdog',  and the Mother Jones 2014 lecture by Prof James Green of the University of Massachusetts.

There are  lunchtime concerts, music workshops and music nightly at the Maldron Hotel.

All events are free of charge with the exception of the Si Kahn and Anne Feeney Fundraiser Concert (€15) to ensure this festival can remain open to people free of charge.
The Concert takes place on Thursday night at 8.15pm with two of Americas finest folk singers.  Please Support this local festival.
